The 0.42g version is for me the stablest emule tested so far!! All the other tested mods (Pawcio,EF-Mod, LSD-Mod) under the same environment are instable after a while, they tend to freeze and discontinue the service after a while. Again it is a real emule not so fast, but stable. What do you wish else??

Win MX was so so fun back in the day. I really kinda miss diwnloadong groundbreaking new remixes at 4kbps and coming up half an hour for each at the same time as doing new searches and seeing what else they got on there. Saturday mornings have never been the same in view of the fact that, excellent job I aquired a life.

Goal based upload management in P2P ===================================
IBM has invented a Goal based self tuning priority system for Mainframe operating systems called WLM (Workload Manager). In my opinion this system could also work when applied to P2P.
The basic idea is to self tune the P2P program so that the best upload result is obtained and that also low upload score clients get a chance to get some data.
It consists in the following steps:
1) start p2p the normal way until the upload queue has enough clients (500)
2) when enough clients are on queue assign importance class to the upload clients. Importance class is a number from 1 (highest) to 6 (discretionary) the importance is based on the upload score.
for example: 0-9 = 6 10-99 = 5 100-999 = 4 1000-9999 = 3 10000-99999 = 2 100000- = 1
3) create some upload slots (10 to begin)
4) fill upload slots in with clients of each class (highest upload score for each class first)
importance class 1 = 4 upload slots importance class 2 and 3 = 2 upload slots each importance class 4 and 5 = 1 upload slot each importance class 6 = 0 upload slots
5) collect performance data for each class (average total upload rate of the class), continue to assign empty upload slots to clients of the slot class. Do not change class for clients that are already uploading even if upload score has changed.
6) every 5 minutes compare the average class upload rate to the upload rate goal using the formula performance data/goal=performance index (PI)
importance 1 goal=50% of upload limit importance 2 goal=20% of upload limit importance 3 goal=10% of upload limit importance 4 goal=5% of upload limit importance 5 goal=2% of upload limit
7) start checking the PI from the highest importance class down to the lowest. For each class: - if PI>1.1 do nothing - if PI<0.9 start from the lowest importance class to find an upload slot donor class. Upload slot donors are discretionary class (importance 6) or importance classes that have PI>1.1. Note that also higher importace classes may be donors. - if all importance classes have PI<0.9 force lower importance classes to upload less or delete some upload slots from the lowest importance classes. - if all importance classes have PI>1.1 add upload slots for discretionary class or increase upload capacity for the higher classes.
